School Climate Transformation Grant Survey
Our district is participating in a school climate transformation survey through the School Climate Transformation Grant. The survey will allow schools to measure conditions for learning that improve the school environment. The results will be used to develop and implement data-driven, targeted interventions. Among other favorable outcomes, these interventions will also be used to enhance academic achievement, increase student safety, and improve graduation rates. The survey will be administered to all students in grades 5, 7, 9, and 11 by using a survey link. A school code will also be used so the results can be aggregated by school.
Before the survey is administered, a passive permission form should be given to parents of students in those grades. This document can be downloaded below in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese. If possible, please post these attached letters on your school website next week. The documents can be edited if the date listed is too soon and needs to be changed. The survey began March 23 and is open until the end of the school year. Please contact Erin Valls, Pauline Thomas, or Cassandra Seruntine if you have any questions or need assistance.
